Today, I try a function of HP Photosmart D5360 that direct print a label on Printable-DVD. I love it. I has printed it by HP Photosmart Essential software that come with a printer. However, it come in Black mode. I think HP Photosmart Essential forget to set this parameter for me. (version 2.5) also there are no more dialogs which I can manual set what I would like to print. I think this is a function that a software should have.

Afterthat, I looking forward some software that can be labelling a CD/DVD. Yes, there are some available software in the internet. However, I think Droppix Label Maker 2.9.3 is the best. A list what I tested is

• HP Photosmart Essential (Support Direct to Disc Printer)
• Roxio Express Labeller 3.2 (Support LightScibe / Direct to Disc Printer)
• exPressit SE 3.0 (Does not support both)
• Sure Thing CD Labeler (Not to test but be interested)
• undercover xp (Not be interested)
• Nero Cover designer (Not be interested / support lightscibe)

My media which be tested is Iomega DVD-R 16x Printable. I wrote it at 4x speed, afterthat I checked for quality show 95 from Nero Disc. A media is 2nd type listed in Digital FAQ website [PDF] which mean a medium quality of DVD-R manufacturer.
